MBSR-Newsletter 6/2010 - English version
Dear friends,
looking back at 2010 one event emerges as very important for our future work: the scientific conference of the "Center for Mindfulness" (CFM), which gave us a lot of new ideas and contacts. It was once more obvious for me that the USA are some years ahead in the process of integrating mindfulness more and more in daily life. And Jon Kabat-Zinn always emphasizes that MBSR is an method that implicates a lifelong learning - it's nothing that you could have completed after a Training!
I am very glad to be able to participate in this process, to invite teachers for 2011 to Germany which represente this approach in a very special way, adding new perspectives. Like Chris Germer, who will hold Seminars and Lectures around "his" theme of "The Mindful Path to Self-Compassion" for the first time in Germany, or Bob Stahl, a very experienced MBSR-teacher and -trainer, offering a Vipassana-Retreat and a Daylong with the title "The Original Body-Scan" (right below you find our actual plan of seminars and retreats in 2011).
I wish you A Happy+Healthy New Year
Lienhard Valentin
