This Online class is suitable for both beginning and experienced meditators. We will work primarily with the first of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness – mindfulness of the body.

The “32 Parts of the Body” meditation has rarely been taught in the West; you will be introduced to it from an Insight perspective of the true nature and wonders of the body. This practice has also been used for healing illness and most importantly to help eradicate the erroneous view of self. Various methods will be taught to strengthen mindfulness of the body and to explore the mind/body connection.

Each class will consist of silent and guided meditation, chanting of the body parts and small and large group discussion. These teachings and practices will help develop greater clarity, wisdom, and compassion; and foster the depth of practice.

This retreat is appropriate for the general public, health professionals, and mindfulness teachers or in training.  

The seminar language is English with translation in German by Nadine Helm.

  • Week II: Head hair, Body hair, Nails, Teeth, Skin
  • Week III: Flesh, Sinews, Bones, Bone Marrow, Kidneys
  • Week IV: Heart, Liver, Diaphragm, Spleen, Lungs
  • Week V: Large Intestines, Small Intestines, Stomach, Feces, Brain
  • Week VI: Bile, Phlegm, Pus, Blood, Sweat, Fat
  • Week VII: Tears, Grease, Saliva, Mucus, Oil of the Joints, Urine
  • Week VIII: Closing of the Class

Teacher and assistant


Bob Stahl, Ph.D. has completed MBSR teacher certification at University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Stahl also serves as an Adjunct Senior Teacher for Oasis – the institute for mindfulness-based professional education and innovation of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

He is a long-time practitioner of insight meditation who lived in a Buddhist monastery for over eight years.




Petra Tschögl, Mag., ist Klinische- und Gesundheitspsychologin sowie MBSR-Lehrerin. Zwischen 2008 und 2019 arbeitete sie achtsamkeitsbasiert im klinisch stationären Bereich mit Menschen mit Erschöpfungssyndrom, Depressionen, Angsterkrankungen und chronischen Schmerzen.



The online class takes place via Zoom.

Cancellation Conditions
  • For cancellations up to one month prior to the beginning of the course, an administration fee of 20 Euro will be charged.
  • Between 30 and 10 days prior to the beginning of the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged.
  • Should the booking be cancelled less than 10 days prior to the beginning of the course, the entire course fee will be charged.
  • If there is a waiting list and the place can be assigned again, only an administration fee of 20 Euro will be charged.
  • In case of non-appearance or early departure from the event, the full course fee must be paid.
