The retreat will have a special focus on how Vipassana meditation informs MBSR. MBSR is derived most importantly from mindfulness meditation, along with stress psychology, and group process.
This retreat will include systematic instructions in Vipassana meditation - both sitting and walking - and evening talks highlighting the central teachings of the Buddha and their practical application to our lives and how they relate to Mindfuness-based interventions.
The retreat emphasizes steadying the mind, opening to insight, and developing profound clarity and depth of insight practice. Instruction will follow the traditional four foundations of mindfulness, combined with training in loving-kindness and compassion, through a daily schedule of silent sitting, walking, dharma talks and interviews.
The retreat language is English with German translation.

Dana
On the other side, due to the fact that it is a traditional Vipassana-Retreat, it runs on a Dana base – that means, at the end of the retreat you give the teacher whatever you can or as much as you believe adequate.
Dana is the practice of cultivating generosity or giving. In the Buddhist tradition these teachings have always been considered priceless and are offered freely to all. You are welcome to make a donation of whatever means to the teacher to help support their work teaching the Dhamma. You give the teacher as much as you can or as much as you believe adequate. Of course you can simply give as much as it is commonly requested for retreats of this type.
If you have questions concerning the retreat fee, please contact us.
In case of non-appearance or early departure from the event, the full course fee must be paid.
Participation in this retreat is at your own risk.
The leader of the retreat and the organizer don’t assume liability of personal or material damage.
